NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) _ Vince Gill remembers Eddy Arnold as, ``Arguably the nicest man this town ever knew.'' Barbara Mandrell says Arnold was ``a true gentleman'' whose ``contributions to the world of music will live on forever.'' George Jones says he dearly loved Arnold, adding ``When I was about 15 years old, all I ever sang was Eddy Arnold's stuff.'' The chairman of Sony BMG Nashville says Arnold was talking about making another album just a few weeks ago. Joe Galante says, ``There was a special kind of happiness about him whenever he talked about music.'' Among Arnold's recent albums were ``Looking Back,'' 2002, and ``After All These Years,'' 2005.
