Eddy Arnold dead at 89

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (AP) _ Eddy Arnold has died. He was 89 and just days short of his 90th birthday. He passed away yesterday at a care facility just south of Nashville. Arnold fell outside his home in March, injuring his hip, requiring him to have hip replacement surgery. A friend says Arnold's family was with him when he died. Sally, his wife of 66 years, died in March after a short illness.
